![]() I've used it less but it's still got life in it.īrushless in these cars is fun but is nowhere near necessary. My Mini-T motor has been going strong since day one. That motor had probably 20 or so hours on it before it bit the dust. And averaged about 10 battery packs in it a week. I got that JRX2 on release day, and played with it quite a lot. I've run a Spec JRX2 class with the stock 42T brushed motor every week since we opened our track in early September. ![]() So the brushed one definitely isn't lacking speed.Īnd I don't get anyone who swears by brushless, especially in applications it's not needed. Brushed Mini-T are about 1 lap or ~12 seconds off of Brushless Mini-B over a 5 minute race at our track. And even by doing modifications to make it more stable, it's still inconsistent and will try to wheelie flip and roll. It's a shorter wheelbase, with all the electronics mounted higher. Not many people have even tried or considered racing brushless T. But Mini-T, brushed all the way simply for consistency. At our track we run brushless Mini-B and it's a blast. Would love to build out this directory.Įven brushless turned down to 50% is going to be a lot in a basement. I'm able to set all setting using castle link and installed the latest firmware. Is my ESC malfunctioning? I've read somewhere about using castle creations BEC and also spektrums Rx capacitor but don't know if that will fix the problem. The stock AM radio/Tx has same issue with sv2 but works fine with XL2.5 and titan 380 The titan 380 has the exact same issue as the velineon 380 using the sv2 in brushed mode. The Rx and both 2080 servos work with the stock esc XL 2.5 and titan 380 brushed combo it came with I tried two 2080 servos, neither work with sv2 but both work fine with my brothers stock VXL MERV ![]() If I unplug servo from Rx, Throttle seems to function properly, never cuts out to nuetral (yellow light) even with me turning wheel with servo unplugged If I turn the wheels all the way left or right and hold it, the motor cuts out completly( yellow light) Ready-To-Race® with TQi 2.4 GHz radio system and Docking Base, Castle Mamba Monster Power System. For example I'll go full trottle, the esc light goes green indicationg forward, but will fluxuate between green and yellow, yellow being nuetral, with me holding full throttle the whole time, same for any amount of trottle. E-Revo Brushless: 1/10-Scale 4WD Brushless Electric Racing Monster Truck. Any amount of forward throttle and the esc cuts to nuetral without any change in my commands.
